Thanks Rob and Carolyn for braving the cold! It was so nice to meet you all.

I met up with my sweet friends Michelle and Rob on a gorgeous spring evening for a family photo session. I love being around their boys, Taylor and Braden, because a) they are super nice, and b) I get caught up on what’s cool in middle school from Taylor (kooky pens?) and learn all the Toy Story 3 gossip from Braden (he’s a huge fan!). Here are some of my favorites from their session:

Their golden doodle Mo made an appearance in some of the photos.  He reminds me of a huge muppet!

Thanks Michelle and Rob! I had a great time!

Stella-Denver Dog Photographer

Stella belongs to this cute family. She gets her own post because I’m crazy about her. I have wanted to photograph a pug for a long time–they are so adorable and full of personality. Shortly before our session, Stella had started on a diet, so these should be considered her “before” photos. I’m excited to go back sometime in the future to do her “after” shots. However, I think she’s pretty great as is…

Kathy told me that sometimes when Stella is hungry, she will grab her bowl in her mouth and carry it around until someone feeds her. I was so excited that she did this while I was there! Evidently the diet food  that she’d eaten earlier wasn’t very filling.

Recently I had the opportunity to photograph Carter and Kathy and their gorgeous children Roman and Lucia. Roman was such a happy little guy–eager to show me his favorite books and toys–and Lucia was full of smiles, even though it turned out that she was sick with a fever. You’ll also see a couple photos of their pug Stella in this post. However, Stella’s going to get her own post because I was so crazy about her–I love pugs! Here are some favorites from their session:

There’s something about this last photo that I just love…I think it’s that it is so in the moment–Lucia screaming, Roman playing peek-a-boo, Stella chewing on Roman’s stuffed toy, and Carter and Kathy smiling through it all.

Thanks Carter and Kathy for the fun session with your family!
