Earlier this summer I had a fun family shoot with my sweet friends Mark and Brenda and their beautiful kids Berkeley, Carter, and Chase. You may remember Berkeley, Carter, and Chase–I did a quick session with them back in December and got these shots. This time around it was great to get Mark and Brenda in the photos as well! I had such a fun shoot with Brett and Brooke and their adorable kids Scarlett and Raef. Scarlett was so sweet and Raef gets the award for being one of the most smiley babies I have photographed! He loved the camera. Here are some highlights from their shoot:

I photographed Mike and Sarah and their darling daughters Natalie and Megan on a gorgeous day in March. Natalie was full of fun, and Megan was the perfect calm, sleepy newborn. Here are a few highlights from their shoot:

I had a fun family session in February with Ethan and Aimee and their adorable children, Zoey and Zachary. Zoey and Zachary have the most beautiful eyes! Zoey is a dancer and showed me lots of fun moves, while Zachary showed me lots of cute smiles. Thanks Ethan and Aimee for a fun morning! Here are some highlights:

Abby is the beautiful little sister of these cute boys. Cameron, her oldest brother, hung around while I was doing the shoot and was very attentive to her–she is very blessed to have such great brothers! Abby was such an alert, curious newborn. Here are some favorites from her shoot:

I recently had the privilege of shooting Max’s first birthday party. He’s the son of my sweet friends Amy and Matt. Amy did a great job with the party theme–monkeys.  It was so much fun to photograph a birthday party and I would love to do more of these in the future!

Recently I had the opportunity to photograph Carter and Kathy and their gorgeous children Roman and Lucia. Roman was such a happy little guy–eager to show me his favorite books and toys–and Lucia was full of smiles, even though it turned out that she was sick with a fever. You’ll also see a couple photos of their pug Stella in this post. However, Stella’s going to get her own post because I was so crazy about her–I love pugs! Here are some favorites from their session:

There’s something about this last photo that I just love…I think it’s that it is so in the moment–Lucia screaming, Roman playing peek-a-boo, Stella chewing on Roman’s stuffed toy, and Carter and Kathy smiling through it all.

I went to California in January to attend a photography workshop, and I had the chance to see some good friends from college, Jo and Ted, and their new baby Ella. I was so excited to meet Ella–she is such a beautiful baby and is blessed to have parents that are so crazy about her! I wish that I could see this family a lot more often.
