In my last post, I shared photos from a family session I did with Ricky, Shelly, and Macey. During that session we also spent some time doing couples portraits. Ricky and Shelly are so cute together and it was fun to capture their connection with my camera. Here are some favorites from their session:

I had such a fun shoot with Brett and Brooke and their adorable kids Scarlett and Raef. Scarlett was so sweet and Raef gets the award for being one of the most smiley babies I have photographed! He loved the camera. Here are some highlights from their shoot:

I recently attended a great photography workshop by Phoenix wedding photographer Melissa Jill (you can read more about the workshop on Melissa’s blog). As part of the workshop, we had the opportunity to photograph a newlywed couple, Promise and Brian. As you’ll see from the pictures, Promise and Brian aren’t your average couple; in fact, while we were shooting them some people who were walking by stopped and asked if they were celebrities. I think they might be on their way! Promise is a multi-talented photographer, artist, and graphic designer, and Brian is a worship pastor at a church in the Phoenix area. Here are some highlights from our session:

My sweet friend Joanna needed some updated headshots for work and I was happy to oblige! We met on a windy day for a fun session. Here are some favorites:

Joanna was totally game for doing some rock climbing to get to this spot. I was a little afraid that she was going to fall into the river that was below the rocks, but clearly she had better balance than I would of had in this situation!

It was super windy when I took this shot, but I had to post it here since she looks cute. What’s with all the wind in Denver this spring?

We had the most beautiful light, and just the right amount of snow, when I photographed my good friends Kacy and Joanna and their beautiful kids Haley and Tyler. I wish I had these conditions for all my shoots! Here are some favorites:
