This summer we spent several weeks in Chicago, and I had the opportunity to second shoot Mike and Kristi’s wedding with the fabulous photographer Cassie Schott. It was such a beautiful day! In this post, I’ll share some highlights from the “getting ready” part of the day:

This session marks the first time that I have photographed a family of four children! Nathan met Gudmunda when he was stationed in Iceland with the Air Force, and she left her home to make a life with him in the United States. And what a full life it is! I’m sure that there is never a quiet moment in their home, as it is filled with their beautiful children Isold, Finn, Frodi, and Briet. I had a lot of fun doing this shoot and enjoyed the challenge of keeping up with the kids! Here are some favorites:

This summer I have had the opportunity to photograph a lot of great families, including my friends Joe and Ruby and their adorable sons Trey and Colby. Trey and I spent a lot of time together during the first year of his life–I babysat him full time for about 6 months. He doesn’t remember that time, but I have good memories of it, and it is so fun to see how he has grown and changed since then! Here are some highlights from their shoot:

Earlier this summer I had a fun family shoot with my sweet friends Mark and Brenda and their beautiful kids Berkeley, Carter, and Chase. You may remember Berkeley, Carter, and Chase–I did a quick session with them back in December and got these shots. This time around it was great to get Mark and Brenda in the photos as well!
