This summer I have had the opportunity to photograph a lot of great families, including my friends Joe and Ruby and their adorable sons Trey and Colby. Trey and I spent a lot of time together during the first year of his life–I babysat him full time for about 6 months. He doesn’t remember that time, but I have good memories of it, and it is so fun to see how he has grown and changed since then! Here are some highlights from their shoot:

I love Colby’s bright red hair:

Thanks Ruby and Joe! It was great to see you!

Earlier this summer I had a fun family shoot with my sweet friends Mark and Brenda and their beautiful kids Berkeley, Carter, and Chase. You may remember Berkeley, Carter, and Chase–I did a quick session with them back in December and got these shots. This time around it was great to get Mark and Brenda in the photos as well! Here are some favorites:

Berkeley and Carter were so excited to get their “good behavior” treat:

Thanks so much, Mark and Brenda! I had a great time with you guys!

In my last post, I shared photos from a family session I did with Ricky, Shelly, and Macey. During that session we also spent some time doing couples portraits. Ricky and Shelly are so cute together and it was fun to capture their connection with my camera. Here are some favorites from their session:

They have a LOT of energy…. :)

Thanks Ricky and Shelly! This was so much fun!

I had so much fun taking pictures of my sweet friends Ricky and Shelly and their beautiful daughter, Macey. They were up for anything, and Eric and I enjoyed spending a morning with them exploring downtown Littleton. We did a combination family/couples shoot–I’ll share the family shots in this post and then the couple shots in the next one.

Thanks so much, Ricky, Shelly, and Macey!

Sorry for the long absence here–we’ve been traveling a bit over the past month. But I have lots of fun portrait sessions (and a wedding!)  to share in the next few weeks.

First I have to share some pictures of Tiger, my mother-in-law’s cat. He is such a sweet and cuddly cat. One of my nieces named him Tiger, but I think he should be called Pumpkin–it fits his appearance and demeanor much better! :)

Here are some highlights from a mini shoot that I did while we were visiting my mother-in-law in Omaha:

He’s figured out that these chairs have an excellent texture for scratching:

And finally some action shots…he loves to play with string:
